I am looking for a Bluetooth adapter to plug into the USB port in my car and play songs wirelessly via Bluetooth.  Is this the product for that?

I am not sure if this device can be used in that way as I have not tried this specific application.

However, for this to work, your car would have to have the ability o download the driver for this device to allow the connection from car to device.

To be honest, I doubt a car would have the functionality to do this.  My girlfriend drives a minicooper s with a usb port and all that it can do is play music from drive and charge phone.

will this work with kensington orbit trackball ?

It is by design compatible with mouse and keyboard functionality. So the short answer is that the type of mouse in not all that important. It works with mice, keyboards and printers. It does not work with headsets that have a mic.

will this work with my Acer Model KG-0917 Keyboard and Acer Model MG-0919 Mouse?

I dont see why not. I purchased this looking for an inexpensive quality device and so far it has not disappointed. Very easy setup and found all my bluetooth devices without a problem.

I want a Bluetooth adapter that plugs into the USB port on my laptop computer that will then mate with a remote speaker.  Is the the correct adapter for that application?
