With new firmware 2.13, will I be able to load DD-WRT?

I have not tried it yet, and probably will not for several weeks as I have to rely on this router to get connectivity to part of my house for now. As you can see from other responses, some devices have no problem going from 2.09 to DD-WRT directly, and others have problems. If you know you want to use DD-WRT, I recommend buying the WZR-600DHP2D instead. That model comes with a version of DD-WRT pre-installed, so there's less risk of being prevented from getting what you want. Unfortunately, it seems to cost more... I'll post an update once I do get a chance to test out the 2.13->DDWRT method.

i currently have this (wzr-600dhp2) item at home but i wasnt able to use it, first i tried using the set up guide but it doesnt work, everytime i use it and double click the web enter the "192.168.11.1" as the ip address home it prompts me to incode the admin user name, and the password which is "admin" for the username "password" for the password itself hit the log in button and the page shows no data recieve or so it seems like it cant enter the set up page for the dd-wrt please help?

Make sure that you have the most updated version of IE, google chrome or Firefox . The problem you may have is that the pop op blocker is enable on your we browser. Then connect your PC directly onto the wireless router that you want to configure. You should no have any problems. It worked great for me. Jorge Network Administrator/ consultant.
