HOW2R1 Hi-Gain Wireless-N Dual-Radio Smart Repeater
The Hi-Gain Outdoor 2.4 Wireless-300N Dual Radio Smart Repeater is an advanced Wi-Fi connectivity solution that receives and rebroadcasts wireless signal, inside or outside of your home or office.It is a unique addition to our award winning line of Hi-Gain Range Extending Products and is an ideal solution for marine docks, RV Owners, Hotels, or Business Owners that need high performance long range wireless connections.
Dual-Radio Smart Repeater Features
The HOW2R1 Outdoor Smart Repeater is engineered with two dedicated Wi-Fi radios, one receiving and the other broadcasting. The receiving radio is accompanied by a power amplifier to boost its wireless strength and a 11dBi Directional antenna to increase its receiving sensitivity. This allows the HOW2R1 to pick up wireless signals from a further location. The rebroadcasting radio is connected to two 5dBi Omni-Directional antennas to extend the received signal throughout your local surroundings. In addition, the Smart Repeater Technology provides full featured firewall and router. This means you can share a wireless network without sharing the same security settings as the original one.
PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) allows you to power the HOW2R1 over long distances using an Ethernet cable. It reduces cable clutter and saves the cost of running an outdoor power cord.
Protect your data while sharing a Wi-Fi Hotspot. The HOW2R1 has a built-in full-featured firewall and router. It protects your network and protects your computer with sophisticated security software for a worry-free safe connection. You can share a wireless connection confidently knowing your data is secure.
