The ENCORE ENLWI-N, 802.11n Wireless PCI adapter is fully compliant with IEEE 802.11n Draft 2.0, which provides users in launching IEEE 802.11n wireless networks at up to 300 Mbps speed in the 2.4GHz band. It is also backward-compatible with IEEE 802.11b/g wireless devices at 11/54 Mbps speed. It can be configured to connect to an ad-hoc network mode, connecting to other 2.4GHz wireless devices and computers, or to the Infrastructure network mode to connect to a wireless AP or wireless router for internet access.
This PCI adapter includes a convenient Utility Software for scanning available wireless networks and an option in saving profiles of the preferred networks of the user’s usual wireless connection. It is also equipped with a configurable wireless security and encryption software.
802.11n SupportCompliant with 802.11n Draft 2.0, the ENCORE ENLWI-N delivers high speed wireless speed up to 300Mbps and remains backward compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b wireless networks. The greater bandwidth meets the demand of bandwidth-intensive applications, such as HD video streaming, large file downloading and online gaming.
Improved Wireless ReceptionThe ENCORE ENLWI-N features two internal smart antennas and MIMO technology which uses multiple radios to create a robust signal and reduces dead spots to deliver high speed performance and great coverage.
High Wireless SecurityThe ENCORE ENLWI-N supports WEP, WPA and WPA2 standards for use of the available supreme encryption to ensure the network security.
