Is this card Linux compatible (ie. is it recognized by Centos 6 out of the box)?

Hi Brad, while I cannot confirm if the card is compatible with Centos, I am running the card on an Ubuntu server without any problems so far. The system recognized the adapter post system install, since it was an upgrade and it is working well. best regards, Sascha

Does this product come with a standard sized bracket as well?

No. I ordered in May 2022, and got nothing in the box except the card with the short connector (no doc, no drivers, no nothing). Discovered that it this card uses the Intel 82575 which has been discontinued. The Intel PROSet Adapter Configuration Utility no longer supports that controller, so buy this at your own risk.

802.1Q vlan tagging support?

I'm not sure, I purchased this card for a VMWARE lab. it runs as intended. I would suggest you email Supermicro Support. they were helpful to me.
