Does this work with Kindle Fire HDX?

My kindle loves it. All automatic. Remember though a wireless connection is protected so you need to provide the credentials the first time, (user name and password) Usually a scan shows many connections broadcasting so choose the one you want then you should be prompted for user name and password, Kindle with store those till the router admin changes the password.

the system requirements state that my computer would need a 1.8 processor but my laptop only has a 1.6 processor and 2 gigs of memory. Will I still be able to install this router using my laptop?

I'd imagine that the system requirements are for their software disk but I've never used the software disk to configure any router ever so i would say yes but you would have bad results with the included software the router itself has a web interface so pretty much you would just plug into a lan port and open a web browser (firefox ,IE) and type in the default ip address assigned to the router typically 10.0.0.1 or 192.168.0.1 it usually says what it is on the sticker that has the Admin password
