Yes, you are right. From the bullet points, it is an USB 2.0 and 2 x 2 dualband MU MIMO wireless adapter . It will not connect at 866 Mbps due to USB 2.0 limitation. I think the attraction of this adapter is 2 x 2 dualband and its nano size which you will get better performance than most 1 x 1 dualband nano adapter currently seen in the market at the same environment. For nano size, you don't need to unplug it all the time without fearing to break or lose it. If you need high speed, you can get their 3 x 3 USB adapter which supports USB 3.0. The size is much bigger than this one. It will be certainly great if they can develop an USB 3.0 WiFi USB nano adapter.
