Will this work with Cox and/or Comcast?

it works fine with Cox, Comcast, etc. The only issues I discovered with this router are that it cannot handle large amounts of traffic. So if you are streaming a lot, torrenting, etc. it will need to be rebooted frequently (every week to every few days).

Can this be used with an iPad?

Can be used with about any wireless device. Had no problems with mine. iMac Retina, iPad, windows all in one, watercooled windows machine, and 3 cell phones are all connected to my Archer C2

Can it be used as an access point?

I am currently using mine as a switch and AP only. Nothing plugged in to the WAN port. I haven't seen a way to switch the WAN port to a normal port though.

Is this compatible with Arries 962 Modem? Can I use this either as bridge or as an access point?

I was curious about your thoughts on: TP-Link WA901ND vs Archer c2 with regard to maximum range using Ipads?

Though I haven't specifically tried to test the range with an iPad, I have had no problem within our house with regards to range of signal.
