What color is this? Blue or black?

The one I recieved was blue, but I had the same question.  I didn't really care which, but I really like the blue.

Do I really need Android to set this up?  What happened to the configuration from the "192.168" screen?

The configuration of OnHub is only done via the App.  Google, being the creator of Android, would naturally start with Android as the app of choice but there is also an iOS 7+ app available as well.  Short answer, no, you can use your iPhone.

Question 3

Color choice between blue and black is not listed. What is the color of the device that will be shipping? Is Black an option?

All the units i have seen are black plastic base with a removable blue shield around the outside.

Question 4

Can this be used in conjunction with Google Wi-Fi? Would there be any benefit to adding this to a system that has an Xfinity modem/router and Google Wi-Fi already in place?

I have this along with the 3pack Google wi-fi pucks and very pleased. The OnHub has to be connected directly to your main firewall/router and acts kinda like the wifi master. I have the Google Wi-Fi pucks scattered though-out the house and garage. I do have comcast, but use a Netgear CM1000 cable modem instead of the comcast provided equipment. The netgear cable modem is strictly that, a modem. All the firewalling is handled by the OnHub. I've been running this setup for about a year without issue and very pleased with the ease of setup and management

Can you load DD-WRT or tomato firmware on this?

Aaron, I do not know if you can change the firmware.
 This unit uses an app, you can make adjustments, like passwords, family time, guest access and lets you know what is happening, what devices are logged in, updates with the unit. My unit has done a couple of updates, I did not have to do anything. I get better coverage with this unit than I did with my old unit. Over all this has been a very good unit.

This claims to be the OnHub TP-Link AC1900...the TP-Link version should be the TGR1900 and the Asus version is the AC1900. Which router is this exactly?

Hard question to answer, but I'm pretty sure you'll be getting the TP-Link one, not the Asus.

Question 7

Can this router repeat a wireless signal from another source?  It's called "WISP" on my present router?

It does not appear that it can.   There are now "settings" that allow for this to be set up as a repeater and it requires that an RJ45 (network cable) hard line be connected to it going to your DLS/Cable router.  The setup is minimal and handled for you so it's really just plug and play so no extra/special settings are possible (at least as far as I can tell).

Can I use this as a replacement for the Xfinity router i now have for my Internet?

As long as you have a separate modem this will plug straight into that via the ethernet cable. If you have an integrated router/modem then this won't be able to replace it.

Only one LAN port? So I need a four port switch on top of this router?

If you want to have more devices in a wired connection you will for sure need a switch.

Question 10

I assume the cable from my modem goes into the LAN port.  So what would someone use the WAN port for?  Could I plug my Apple TV into it, and not have to rely on wireless at all?

The WAN port will actually be the one that plugs into the back of your router.  WAN stands for Wide Area Network where LAN stands for Local Area Network.  A WAN means a HUGE network, such as an internet supplier.  A LAN means only your local network (Like at your house), which means yes, you could plug a device into that port and not use the wireless.
