Pros: The 2nd laptop I was sent is operational. So I am able to experience what this machine can do. I love the design and look. EVGA customer support was great on returning the laptop

Cons: The original purchased laptop sent had a faulty display. The replacement laptop has an uneven trackpad that appears to have been installed incorrectly. Futhermore, after an hour of the machine being on, one of the fans inside the machine has an unnatural loud rattle/gurgling noise. The noise sounds as if something is damaged. The experience of having a second laptop with some issue been very disappointing.

Overall Review: Other - My first review had 1 egg, which I retracted after receiving the replacement laptop. Because the customer support has been so good, I'm adding an extra egg. Also, I know I'm going to love this machine if I ever one out of the box that doesn't have an issue with it. I wish I would have bought the 1070 GTX version when it was on sale for $1300.

Pros: Top of line spec except for graphics card, which is still decent. I am a casual gamer. Downloaded Fallout 4, plays with high texture pack on 4k, medium settings 30 fps.... although 1080p will look exactly the same with such a small screen. Will play 1080p at ultra 60fps. So I'm satisfied as far as gaming goes. Solid metal case is amazing. Extremely sturdy. Bought an asus strix 702 the other day and returned it because the screen had brown blotches from damage while shipping because it's made of all plastic... this machine feels like you will never be able to break it.

Cons: Netflix does not support 4K on the 900 series Nvidia cards. Not a con for machine, but annoyed me. the touchpad is definitely terrible imo. Can't really explain, it just feels terrible. Very mushy, hard to rub your finger on, and honestly confusing to use because you can only push down the bottom half to click. BUT I will always use a mouse, which comes free with this, so not an issue.

Overall Review: 5 stars simply for price. 4.8 stars if price was not factor just because of above cons. Would recommend to anyone for a college laptop. It has a great, sleek design so you don't look like a gaming nerd, and the specs will be virtually impossible to beat at this price.

Pros: - Great Specs - Solid Frame - Easy Access to SSD for potential upgrades - Free X10 mouse that I love

Cons: - Two USB ports. I may get a docking station - I got it on a huge sale, the current price is a bit much, but it is a high-quality minimalist design.

Overall Review: I was asking around about the 980M, and decided to go with it even though people recommended I splurge for the 1070, but I haven't been disappointed yet. I mainly wanted this for the rest of the specs along with the graphics card since I'm doing software development as well on it. Still, the 980M has been able to run Doom, GTA5 and Deus Ex Mankind Divided on high without any issues

Pros: Pretty much everything. For a developer, it doesn't get much better than this. I bought this at a steep (59%) discount, and I can't believe they're not all sold by now.

Cons: Video card is a little behind the times and definitely won't drive 4k gaming well. The built in speaker bass is lackluster.

Overall Review: I would recommend this product. I would buy another.

Pros: Love the screen and the solid feel of the computer. I don't push the limits on gaming, playing mostly Starcraft II and Age of Mythology lately, but it looks great and runs fine at the highest settings at full 4K resolution for those games.

Cons: I dislike the keyboard. The letters and numbers are of a weird, less readable font than other keyboards. They must be trying to make it more stylized and cool but that is a stupid idea. The space bar requires too much force to register. Many times when I am typing normally, I hit the space bar and it does not register that I hit it. That is a huge problem to constantly have to be going back and inserting spaces where the space bar missed, or else to adapt my typing to be extra sure I hit the space bar. Never had this problem with any keyboard having used dozens of other laptops over the years. This keyboard kind of sucks in my opinion, which is entirely why I give it 4 eggs instead of 5. Also it is quite heavy, but assuming you can read the specs, you already knew that. I would have preferred an optical drive be included but that is a personal preference.

Overall Review: I do not regret the purchase (yet), assuming I can adapt to this keyboard, but I would hesitate to recommend it for that reason.

Pros: Very sleek and sexy. Keyboard is a pleasure to work with. Sound from the laptop is great as well. Love that it is a solid gaming laptop that is not two inches thick like previous models I have owned. It was ahead of it's time when this released as well.

Cons: 4K gaming is a very big stretch. Most newer games work better at lower resolutions. Very unfortunate that my power adapter broke inside of a year but EVGA support was top notch and shipped me out a replacement adapter ASAP. Stellar support from EVGA.

Pros: Resolution is good but the screen start having issues (ghosting)

Cons: The screen display hurt the eyes. Something was wrong with the display. I tried to tweak it and was able to get some improvement but not much. But today the power supply died down, 4 months after purchase.
