Question 1

so what is supposed to be wrong with the touch pad? I keep seeing in forums that there is some thing wrong with it.

the track pad senses the things you don't want it to do.  And for the things you want it to do just doesn't happen most of the time.  With an update, its not too bad.  It doesn't bother me too much because I use a mouse most of the time.  Plus I turned off all the two finger, and swipe left-right motions because its far too sensitive and always picks up those gestures even though your not trying to do them.  Another issue is when your trying to use the two finger "page up-down" motion, it has trouble picking it up.  When your typing you have to be mindful of the track pad because if you hit it while your typing it will recognize that as a gesture that brings up another application or just appear your curser somewhere on the page and you delete and type over text that you have already written.  But I would recommend this computer because it really is a great computer.

Question 2

Does the computer have audio ports so I can hook up my headset while gaming? The specs don't say, the image indicates it does, but I'm getting mixed signals. :)

Yes, it has audio ports.  The image is correct.  They're on the left side.  The audio is very good, because you can use SB Cinema to tune it to your needs.

Is there a CD or DVD drive?

There is not. I had an external DVD burner already, and it works well with that. It also works well with a Blu-Ray player, but  it does not have an internal CD/DVD/Blu-Ray drive (it's too thin).

Overall a great, thin, light, high performance laptop.

Question 4

Hi, on the pictures on the website the body looks purple. Is it silver IRL?

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I first bought the laptop, I'm not sure why the laptop has a purple color to it in the picture, but it's actually a dark grey, almost black but not quite

Is Windows 7 and option?

Not stock. It comes with windows 8. You can try to downgrade but it would be a big hassle to get all the drivers. Windows 8 has been a lot better than I thought it would be. Just takes a bit of getting used to. You can make it pretty similar to windows 7 by uninstalling the "apps" so things will be windowed I stead of the weird app mode.

Will you please tell me how many monitors this notebook can run?

I haven't tried to put any extra monitors, but it does have a mini display port, an HDMI port, and a couple USB ports. So I'm guessing you can put up to three monitors using some adapters. I sometimes connect it to my TV and play games on there.

Question 7

Is the HDD Hard drive or the SSD hard drive the primary? (likely the one with windows 8 on it) and can you interchange which is considered your primary without pulling it all apart by something like moving windows to the other hard drive or something?

The SSD, which has the OS, is the primary. And yes, you can change around the settings for your HDD to be primary. I use both, but I keep absolutely nothing but the OS, school work, and Skyrim on the SSD. I have Program files under both, for separate programs. I do reccommend that if you do get it, set your downloads to go to the HDD, because I filled up my SDD once already.

Yep! The graphics unit has 2gb. This thing handles everything you can throw at it nowadays easily.

Is the battery replaceable? Because often times I don't have a plug to charge the laptop and I want to have sustainable battery lfie

Its in a closed body similar to the macbook pro. You could if you had some technical skills and some knowhow, however you will more than likely void the warrenty and also have a hard time tracking down a replacement.

Wich Hard drive is the primary, HDD or SSD? can you change wich of the two your windows 8 runs on?

That IS A GOOD QUESTION.  I didn't think about this from the beginning.   Primary (C:\ )  is the SSD.  
I have PhotoShop, LightRoom, SQL Server, Visual Studio, MS OFFICE (full version) and some other small programs.  During the installation I did pointing all programs to the D:\ drive for installation but they are still left their "finger prints" on the C:\.  So as of now my C: is 70% full but it is still fast.

My next project is to make a MIRROR copy of the SSD to the another one (bigger) and replace it. MSI refuse to do this even for money.
