The refurbished MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo is a compact 13.4-inch touchscreen laptop with a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1360P, 16GB of memory, and a 1TB SSD, suited to students and professionals who want responsive everyday performance in a lightweight Windows 11 device.
Recommended For
- Mobile professionals who move between meetings or workspaces and want a lightweight 13.4-inch laptop that can switch between laptop and tablet modes for presenting or touch navigation.
- Students and meeting-heavy workers who want to annotate documents or take handwritten notes on a convertible touchscreen; MSI Pen support is optional, so confirm a compatible pen is included or budget for one.
- Office users who mainly work in browsers, documents, presentations, and video calls and want a compact Windows laptop with an IR webcam, fingerprint security, and Thunderbolt 4 connections for a desk setup.
- People who value a smooth, bright display for reading, browsing, and everyday productivity in a small-format laptop; Laptop Mag praised the earlier Summit E13 Flip Evo’s 120Hz screen, while noting its review tested a different processor generation.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- For work or study involving documents, web research, email, and video calls, it can serve as a portable everyday computer; a review of an earlier Summit E13 Flip Evo configuration found it handled many browser tabs and multiple video streams at once.
- When taking notes in a meeting or class, folding the touchscreen into tablet mode makes handwriting and on-screen annotations more convenient; using a compatible MSI Pen is optional, as it is not listed in this product’s package contents.
- For travel between home, office, or campus, its compact, light design is suited to carrying between locations, while its 360-degree hinge supports laptop or tablet-style use; plan to bring a charger for longer or demanding days, since independent testing of an earlier version reported shorter-than-class-leading battery life.
- For presentations or a shared desk setup, connect an external display or dock through its video-capable USB-C/Thunderbolt ports or HDMI, then use the laptop screen for notes or reference material.
- For light creative tasks such as reviewing photos, making simple edits, or sketching, the touchscreen and integrated graphics suit casual workflows; reviews describe stylus-based sketching and Photoshop use, but this is not the right fit for graphics-heavy production.
