"Scratch and Dent"  Is this a non-specific term?  Does this mean that there's a scratch and a dent on the laptop that I receive?  Where are the defects? Thanks!

I am not sure why it's labeled "scratch and dent" at all. Mine arrived free of any physical blemish or damage. I will say, however, that the one reviewer on the site is accurate in that it does only have 4gb of RAM and a 500 (well, 414) gig hard drive. I will also say that it comes with Windows 8, which I have found to be the most infuriating thing to work with in the world. If you have no experience with it, you might want to check on a laptop that still comes with Win7. I wish I did.
