2lb 8oz without the keyboard. 4lb 4.7oz with keyboard.  I would rate this with 3 stars at best.  The computer works pretty well if you keep it plugged in but the fact that the charging for the keyboard takes up the only usb on the computer makes it kind of a pain (esp when your family loves to not plug things in and it runs out of battery).  Add that to the fact that the keyboard does not seem to hold a charge long.  Other than that it works ok.  I like ASUS as a company but this really has not lived up to their name as far as I am concerned.  Now let me say this.  We purchased this to replace a laptop, not a tablet.  This would be great as a tablet, it is just not the best laptop replacement.

Question 2

I see nothing on newegg's Overview or Specification tabs about a second harddrive built into the keyboard, as I am seeing from other websites. Could anyone who has bought this item on newegg.com confirm or deny a second harddrive built into the detachable keyboard? Thanks.

This tablet does not have an additional hard drive.  I had the same confusion:  you might be looking at the description for the ASUS TX300, not T300.  Both are the same size and their overal descriptions are similar.  The TX300 does not have a USB port on the tablet itself (it does on the keyboard/dock) as the T300, and the TX300 has backlit keyboard whereas the T300 does not.  There are other slight differences, but those, and the hard drive, are the ones I found most relevant and could affect your purchase decision.  Both are about the same price.

Is this a quad core processor?

The CPU has 2 physical cores, but supports hyper-threading so it would show in Task Manager as 4 CPUs.  It is still plenty fast.  I don't think I'd spend the extra bucks for the I7 CPU.  I have a 1.4GHz I5 on my 3-year old Samsung Ativ9 ultrabook and speed is never an issue.  The Asus T300 has a 1920x1024 display which is True HD.

Question 4

Can I install an aftermarket SSD in the dock without too much trouble? Also, if so, what are the size specs?

The dock does not contain hard drive space. Additional space may be added via micro SD card ur USB storage.

Question 5

i have two questions. one the Bluetooth keyboard that i get with my current tablet rather sucks, its laggy and often clicks letters to many or not enough times. does this keyboard work like a real computers keyboard or is it like every other Bluetooth keyboard. then my second is can i install games like minecraft and league of legends. if it were just a laptop i wouldn't even question this but its also a tablet so i don't know if that makes a difference for those types of games?

The factory keyboard works extremely well for me.  The fact that it is wireless, the only tablet brand to have this feature that I am aware, is extremely convenient.  It has to be charged separately, but its standby feature allows it to keep going and going; I have not run out of charge on mine, despite long usage periods, and I just plug it once daily for about an hour while the tablet charges.  
As far as games, I have not installed Minecraft, but I have installed other games (nothing too intense on graphics) and they work well.

Question 6

1) Can 4 GB memory be upgraded to 8 or 16 GB?
2) Can 128 GB SSD storage be upgraded to 250 oer 500 GB?

Lets be real: 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage are tiny -- far too small for practically any application, especially video.

This device does not appear upgrade-able.  I have not attempted to take it apart.  A cursory look outside reveals no screws. There is a micro-SD port on the body of the table.  The keyboard has no ports.
