Im trying to determine if both screens are touch screens. when open to a laptop, is the screen still a touch screen?

Only the tablet screen is a touch screen. When open as a laptop, the screen is not a touchscreen and you can either use the built in touch pad or plug in a mouse.

Is it possible to use a stylus with this product?

Short answer is yes,

There are 2 kinds of stylus.  One just pretends to be your finger, it will work on any touch screen but is less precise.   The 2nd is much more precise but requires the screen to have special sensors called a digitizer.  In this case both will work.

Does this Ultrabook come with the touchscreen pen?

Yes, it comes in a nice box and the stylus and adapter come with it.

DOES IT HAVE A DISK DRIVE?

It does not have a built-in optical drive. I already had the Asus external optical drive for my last netbook. If you only plan on using discs occasionally then this setup works fine.

I do not know what year this came out but it seems fairly new.

Does this version still have the issue regarding the touch screen lost function after update to windows 8.1?

I installed updates then upgraded to 8.1 then checked for updates again while using touch pad in laptop mode and did not experience a loss of touch control. However I didn't try using touch during the updates and upgrade.  I have 13.3-Inch model.

Will it be accept windows10 when I comes out? And can I load windows10 Tech Preview on it safely?

I currently have it installed and it seems to be doing fine. I have 8.1, and 10 Tech Preview installed concurrently. When you start the machine it asks which OS you want to boot up. I was a little worried as it only has 4GB of memory, but it seems to doing doing great.

I understand the outer screen is 1920x1080 but is the inner screen that same resolution or did they cheap out and make the inner screen 720p?

An IPS screen with a Full HD resolution of 1920x1080 pixels is used for both the inner screen and the one built into the lid, i.e. outer screen. Only the screens' finish differs. The laptop's screen features a matte coating and the tablet-typical outer screen features a glossy edge-to-edge design.

I'm satisfied with the quality of both screens. But I do not find it practical as a tablet this ulrabook. ASUS should provide more support in update. Still it is a very nice pc.

Is the OS Windows 8.1 Pro?

it come with windows 8 and upgrades to 8.1. look inmicrosoft store....it gives you the option to go to pro , but it will cost you some bucks

how well can this ultrabook edit videos?

I would have to say no.  For video editing you really want a larger ram buffer.  The system can handle it, but I would revoke a something with a discrete video card and more system RAM.  or you can do what I do and edit video on a desktop system and use your laptop for mobile computing.  It's also awesome as a tablet.  I love this laptop.
