It’s an i7. Also be warned, the battery on this laptop is only rated to last a full 3 hours and I returned it because it barely got 2.5 hours with light use. It’s frankly not worth it.

Is this vr ready?

The problem with this laptop is if you would like VR, you would have to have display ports. The only VR that doesnt require  is WMR/Windows VR and Vive regular not pro. If you purchase those VRs then you can use this laptop to play VR as it meets the minimum graphics, ram, CPU, and OS. The only thing that the laptop lacks is display port and more than 3 USBs (some of the higher VRs require 4 USB slots to function but the ones I listed are not included).
If you decide to buy this laptop, make sure to setup the settings for geforce preference otherwise the integrated video on the cpu will have priority. Also windows 10 has features that lower the benching for 2D rendering so check into adjusting settings for optimal gaming.

Does the 3750h bottleneck the 2060?

AMD Ryzen 7 3750H (Clock speed at 100%) with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060(Mobile) (Clock speed at 100%) x1 willproduce 15.54% of bottleneck. Everything over 10% is considered asbottleneck.   Runs all my games fine without system lag. But that depends on what settings and what you want to do with it. Over all its not a bad laptop for budget gaming.

would this laptop be able to upgrade it's storage capacity, like adding another SSD or a mechanical drive?

Yes, you can add an additional M.2 SSD and a 2.5" HDD. I wouldn't waste my time though. The back cover is hard to remove and on mine one of the pem nuts broke (or was already broken when I got it) when I pulled the cover off.
This thing is loud and the fans don't work efficiently. It would constantly run 80-85c with the fans going full body sounding like an F-18 getting ready for takeoff. I had to close the lid, turn it upside down and attach an external monitor to keep it running at 75C. If it was flat on a deal it would go into thermal cutoff with zero warning after about 8 minutes. Did it twice to me. I do not recommend this laptop.

can this laptop support oculus link with a usb c to a adapter?

yes but you have to keep in mind that some oculus require two connections which this device does not have. If you are having overheating issues, there are multiple gaming fan hookups for cooling like MeFee RGB Laptop Cooling Pad as an example of what I use

Asus has been making very unwise decisions lately: it makes 11" Windows laptops with only 32Gigs of storage (??????) And now a laptop with no SD or micro SD card reader? Very bad business decisions...

I am not an ASUS representative, but I think I know why.  Adding more IO would add additional components to the board. While the financials may have come into that decision, it would also potentially add height and restrict airflow.  This laptop is very thin and small for what it does while still having a decent screen size.  For their target market, most people do not even use the SD slot so it is not something that will be sore missed, especially since a lot of SD card adapters exist to allow you to plug them into USB.

What I would have preferred would be a display post and at least one more USB to make it better for a wider variety of VR headsets. If anyone is interest in that, another person answered that question and I would suggest looking at that reply.
