Is this computer wi-fi compatible?

Can you print documents that you have created on this computer.  I assumed that was a standard thing, but apparently its not.

Yes it is Wi-Fi compatible and what is great is that the computer will find your service and all you will have to do is enter your password so it can connect to it.

Sure you can print anything you create on this computer.  You will have to install a printer that has a USB connector in order to do this.  Just plug it into a USB port and your operating system will find it.  It may even install the drivers for it for you.

Question 2

It looks like it is Windows 7 /w a Win 8.1 license.  And, THEN Win 10?  Sounds like a hassle.  Please advise.

My laptop came with Windows 7.  Once you connect to the internet Microsoft will start downloading Windows 10 to the laptop using Windows Update.  The Windows 10 download happens over a period of a couple of weeks.  Once you are ready, you can go ahead and perform the upgrade at your convenience.

I like Windows 7, so I haven't decided yet if I will upgrade.  You have until about June of 2016 to take advantage of the free upgrade.

Windows 10 doesn't suck, but it is not awesome, particularly if you don't have a touch screen.

I couldn't say exactly what it weighs other than, "practically nothing".  That is, only a pound or two.  It's about an inch thick, and I carry it in my briefcase, which weighs more than the laptop.

Nada

It is Windows 7 only AND since HP in its infinite wisdom used all 4 primary partitions you can't even add a dual boot Linux booting from an extended partition.

You can download & install Libre Office for it for free, but, you need to physically wipe the hard drive to install a good OS.

Buy a machine which is configured correctly, not an antitrust violation like this.

It has WiFi yes if that's what you mean. Not sure about Office I actually gave it away to my sister because I prefer my Lenovo Think Pad T430. 15.6 inch laptops are just not my size anymore.

I added an additional 4gb of RAM. I did not leep the plastic container but a call to HP will get that answered, then buy it somewhere cheaply, but do not buy a cheap brand.
