There are lights all over this thing. The whole keyboard lights up, as well as the alien logo on the lid. There are also some accent lights on the front. You can change the colour of the lights with the included software. Very cool design if you want lights. You can also toggle all of the lights off with a simple keyboard shortcut.

Does The Alienware 17 Come With A Recovery OR Windows Usb Key?
I'm Thinking Of Buying This Lappy At Some Point, & Just Replacing The HDD For A SSD.

Short answer no. But if you plan on adding an ssd later on down the road you can clone the drive easily with free software. That's what I did when I purchased my ssd. Also you may be able to contact dell and get a USB stick with the recovery on it for a fee.

yes it is R2 and supported with amplifier u can tell that as the gpu is 970 all 900 series containing alienware products are supported with amplifier morever the model starts with ANW the older ones were ALW.
