Does this computer have a DVD writer?

Accepted Answer

No, it doesn't.  Too thin, which is nice, can always use an external one.  I'm not a geek or computer whatever, just use computers a lot; I like it but am still grumbling about Win 10 and now using Office Live, think earlier versions of both were much better.  No way around that though, as long as you're using a PC.

Does this have a backlit keyboard? And if so, what color?

Yes. The color is red. I wish it was a touch brighter. The red hue takes away from the visibility, in my opinion. Solid rig otherwise.

how much fps will this get on fortnite?

I've never played it but notebookcheck says on ultra settings at 1080p it will do 80 fps.

How is the fan and the cooling system?

Hot air blows out the back on the laptop which is welcoming to me. Other laptops I've owned push hot air out the sides, which made using a mouse uncomfortable at times. As for general cooling performance, after playing WoW at 5-6 on the performance slider for 3-4 hours the surface area on the laptop never got to a point that is was "hot". Maybe just a tad warm. I have not played any other games that are as graphically intense as WoW on it however. Overall I think the cooling system is well done.

Question 6

How would you describe the keyboard key feel and pressure required, and touchpad left/right button click pressure? I'm looking for soft touch/click due to arthritis.

I would describe the pressure required to press keyboard keys as very light. The keys are almost flush with the base so they don't have to travel. I to have arthritis and it is a welcome feeling, though it does takes some getting used to. The touchpad pressure is not unlike any other laptop I've used. Nothing really to add there.
