Does this computer have a keyboard backlight?

Yes. Mine is a red backlight keyboard. FYI It does not light up through the letter like some keyboards just on the back of the key only.

Is the keyboard backlit? I answer mentions a backlit keyboard, but I don't see it in the specs. What is the speed of the HDD?

Yes, the keyboard is backlit. Not dimmable. HDD is 5400 rpm, which is slow, but OK when used as a repository for music and pictures. The SSD is fast.

Is this a new product?

Picked up my yesterday. It's brand new.
