The Microsoft Surface Laptop 15 (EP2-50804) is a 15-inch touchscreen notebook with an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, 16 GB of memory, a 256 GB SSD, and Windows 11 Pro, suited to professionals and students seeking a large-screen laptop for everyday work and study.

Recommended For

• Office and business users who want a 15-inch touchscreen laptop for everyday work, including documents, browser-based tasks, and video meetings; reviewers praised the keyboard, webcam, and everyday-use noise levels.
• People who need Windows Intel compatibility for work apps or peripherals: the Intel edition offers broader app and game compatibility than the Snapdragon version, according to Notebookcheck.
• Touchscreen users who spend the day reading, reviewing, or navigating documents and value a sharp, color-accurate display; the tested 15-inch model has a 3:2 touchscreen, and reviewers noted accurate colors and no PWM flickering.
• Hybrid workers who want a large-screen laptop for desk-to-home use and occasional travel, with USB-C/Thunderbolt 4, USB-A, and a microSD Express card reader for connecting common accessories.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• When working across spreadsheets, documents, and browser tabs, the 15-inch 3:2 touchscreen gives you room to view more page content at once, making everyday office multitasking easier.
• For remote meetings and classes, the built-in 1080p camera, voice-focused microphones, and Windows Studio Effects support video calls without requiring a separate webcam or microphone.
• When reviewing webpages, reading long documents, or navigating Windows, you can use the touchscreen for direct taps and scrolling, while the laptop keyboard and trackpad remain available for longer work.
• For routine work in Windows apps—including office software and established Intel-compatible business programs—the Intel configuration avoids relying on Windows-on-ARM app emulation, though demanding workloads may exceed this Core Ultra 5 model’s intended everyday role.
• For watching films, streaming shows, or browsing photos at home, the large high-resolution display and built-in speakers provide a comfortable laptop-based viewing setup; the glossy screen may be less comfortable in bright surroundings.
