It saved my Toshiba laptop, but it doesn't have an adapter to fit my HP. It seems nobody does, except HP. Kind of a proprietary thing I guess. Well worth the price.

do  this one has adapter for the LENOVO thinkpad ?. It is a rectangular plug.

Unfortunately, if by rectangular you mean the plug has a rectangular cross-section, the answer is no.  All the adapters have cylindrical tips except one.  The cross-section of the exception is square with two corners on one side rounded off and the other two corners have notches in them.  It seems to fit a 3-pin socket and is intended for some Dells.  None of the adapters are actually listed as compatible for Lenovos, but I have noticed that an adapter listed for some IBMs fits my Thinkpad E520.  (Since Lenovo is the continuation of the IBM line, that's not surprising.  I haven't actually tried the adapter since my original charger works fine.)

depending on the charge jack this charger has dell's square connection and its round one. it also includes a separate connector for the hp charging jack. so it should work for both yes if you are asking if the hp connector fits in the dell charge jack yes but it will not charge your battery on the dell due to dells smart charge thing.

It's probably too many brands and models to list individually. I use mine with a Dell Latitude D600 and a Dell Inspiron 5100. The key thing to note is that the adapter sends 90 watts of power to the device. This was the standard for single core Intel Pentium 4's and Celerons from about 2000 to 2004. I believe that newer laptops and netbooks use significantly lower power rated adapters in the 35 to 65 watt range. The unit comes with 11 different tips to cover about every conceivable connection. Check the bottom of your laptop for the UL or FCC label. Remember that Watts = Amps x Volts. My Dells use 4.5A x 20V and 4.62 x 19.5V to produce 90W.

As far as i can tell from pictures i've looked up online they it should work with your laptop I used this on may laptops sometimes it's a little lose but most of the time fits nicely on all the laptops i used it on.

Compatibility with Dell 90W PA-3E? I have a Dell N5050 that is currently being charged off a Dell 90W charger, but the charger is due up for replacement and this seems like it might work, but I want to confirm that it can, indeed, charge a Dell computer that has the infamous three pin connector.

From what I can view from the pic. Yes, 4 little countersunk  male prongs on the tips that plug-in to the power cord coming out of the device.     Ac cord is different though.

Nothing will be 100% for sure unless you buy the exact charger Sony makes for that laptop but this charger most likely will fit.

The only difference I have noticed is the AC power cord supplied with unit. One has a two prong plug and the other one a three prong plug.

Yes it has both of the common dell tips.   the older Notched Square Triple Pin and the round 7.4x5.0 with signal pin.

though it may trip the Dell BIOS Warning about unknown power rating.   suppress it with going into BIOS Setup and disable the AC Warning.

Several models have warned me and several have not.   i use 2 of these for my repair business.
