If you aren't overclocking and have decent case fans it should suffice for light use. I would recommend this cooler for heavy gaming. I'd suggest a heat pipe riser with fans for heavier gaming.

is this ryzen compatible?

I am about to find out today, my Ryzen compatible mobo is coming in the mail. I bought because Newegg offered it in a package deal for me with said Ryzen mobo so I am going to hope so, however comparing the mounts on the cooler that already came with my Ryzen cpu , they are not the same size. I am going to assume it isn't compatible but until I have the motherboard infront of me I cannot say for certain.

What TDP rating is this cooler?

Enter an answerI read an answer for the Cooler Master i71C RGB here on the egg by the manufacturer.  The Cooler master representative wrote the following for the RGB model:  "The maximum TDP for this unit is stated at 95W." The representative was responding to a reviewer.  The specs are almost identical between these models.  Biggest difference is that this one weighs a few more grams 430g vs 385g and fan speed for this one is listed as 1800 RPM 4 pin fan connector while the RGB model is listed as 650-1800 RPM and controlled by PWN fan connector. Correct me if I'm wrong but, I believe a PWN is a 4 pin.   I cannot guarantee that this model has the same TDP but, it's the best I've been able to find.  I invite you to look at the RGB model can compare them for yourself.  Good luck! to this question.
