Step up from the stock cooling fan and heatsink that came with your processor to the Thermaltake Volcano 8 SE CPU cooling fan and heatsink. Made for use with AMD Athlon XP up to 2800+ and AMD Sempron up to 2800+, the all-copper base absorbs heat and transfers it to the heatsink more efficiently than other materials. A three-point fixed clip enhances the cooler's balance on the processor for the best bond possible.
A 60mm, 4,800rpm, single-ball-bearing fan, which has a longer life and better heat endurance than a sleeve-bearing fan, sits on top of the heatsink pushing heat out away from the processor. The fan is rated at an operational sound level of 35dB. A simple connection to a standard 3-pin fan port on your motherboard is all that's needed for power.
