Yes and No. There's Thermal paste Pre-Applied to it so there's no extra. So if you want to take it off and do whatever with it you'll have to buy some more.

which one is better Thermaltake Water 3.0 Performer or Corsair H80i?

Hey Armaan k i just bought a 3.0 performer over the H80i.  The big reason was Price.  I do not believe really one is better then the other they both have great cooling abilities and from all the reviews i read and tests before i bought one i noticed a very small degree of difference in cooling between the 2.  I have heard the Fans on the thermaltake can get loud at full speed but thats about it.  I hope i helped answer your question.  And just for reference if you look at reviews you will notice there are WAY more reviews from customers on the Corsair H80i then on the Thermaltake.  Good luck with your choice.

this would be my first time purchasing a water cooler.  you have any recommendations on 4 atx cases, that are $70 or less?

You need to make sure that the fan size matches the size of the fan in your case. For example, all of the CPU water coolers sold by NewEgg mate with a 120mm fan in the side of your case. If you happen to have a case with a smaller fan, such as a 92mm fan, then you will need to look elsewhere for your water cooler. Asetek, Inc. sells a CPU water cooler that works with a 92mm on EBay.

The coolers work very well, much better than air cooled fans, and will keep your cpu cool enough to overclock. They all work the same way and are about the same quality. Just make sure you don't buy one that won't fit the fan in your case.

Using Intel instructions in the one step having to place 4 screws into one of the rectangular plates, I look to find there are 2 bags with the same screws but 1 is longer. Which one should I use? The longer or shorter?

You want to use one that will penetrate the wall of the case and pass thru the CPU, If it is too long it will not secure the CPU, and of course if it is too short you will not be able to install the nut on the bolt. I hope that answers your question. I was surprised to learn that an optional screen for the side fan was not installed. if you have a solid sheet of plexiglass, it would not be possible to install any fan , optional or not. I was upset with this as one of the reasons for buying this case was having 3, 300mm fans for cooling. I bought 2, 200mm fans with my order and the top fan will not accommodate the bigger fan. The side fan I marked mounting holes for the install of the side fan with a felt tip marker, then drew a circle around the circumference of the fan outline. I drill many holes, along the outline until the outline fell out of the plexiglass. I then mounted the fan. of course it looks like crap, has multiple scratches and cracks, but the fan runs fine.

Did anyone get the software part for this product to control the speeds of pump/fans because I did not get my?

I did not get the software, either, but my motherboard has some pretty awesome functionailty tools, and i would rather let the mobo monitor and correct itself as needed rather than having the fan's program in charge.

I am strongly considering buying this product, but does anyone know if it will fit properly for the upcoming FM2+ socket that's going to be released Jan. 2014 with AMD's new processors?

I purchased this cooler for a new Intel i7 processor. It works awesome and cools great. my CPU stays around 100f .
It is also very quite and works well.
It was a bit to setup. But worth every second of time to get it installed

No, you do not need to add a cooling fluid.  The system is sealed.

Will this work with an AMD FX-8150?

Yes, it should fit just fine. The fans and radiator are going to attach to your case, and the power cables for the fans and pump will attach to your MOBO. The part that actually attaches to the CPU is relatively small.

Another note: DO NOT GET THERMAL COMPOUND! This cooler comes with some applied already.
