What you see is what you get.  This is one of several, simple pre-assembled water cooling systems.  They almost all are sealed systems.  The liquid fills the tubes and the radiator and that is it.

There are a couple of models that have fittings on the radiator to add to the system but most do not have this feature.

They are meant to be "no fuss, no muss" and they are.  They work as well as, or better than, a really good air cooling system but not nearly as well as some of the higher end custom water cooling systems that you must build from parts that do include a reservoir.

Question 2

First water build, looking for help. Upon opening, looking at the heatsink, there's a grey circle in the center - surrounded by a copper ring. What is this? A sticker? (lol) Pre-applied thermal paste I need to remove? Second question: do I need to fill this like an open-loop, or does it come in the box, ready to go? I can hear liquid swishing sounds, but don't want to fry a 4770k in 10 seconds! =)

Ryan, I have a 4770K also and I use this water cooler.  It works great.  The grey circle you are asking about is Thermal paste that is per-applied in the appropriate amount.  Leave it there, and do not apply any more.  Also, you do not need to add any coolant.  This is a closed system, DO NOT break into the loop you will only compromise its integrity.  There is no reason you should have to break into the loop.

Will this fit in the top of a Thermaltake Commander MS-I??

It should fit you may have to mount the radiator using the many fan holes on the top but I had no problem doing it myself and it works great. I can send pics on how I did it if you would like.

Can I install this cooler(Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme) to my full tower case ( Thermaltake Overseer RX-I) without remove Top 200m fans?

Hi there, to the best of my knowledge I do not believe that is possible. It requires a mount for 2 120mm fans and the radiator, and since that is the only place it would be able to reach, then I'm afraid it would require you to remove the fan. But do not worry, 200mm fans are not as amazing as some would think. They are not well built and they are not designed to any level as lets say a Noctua NF-F12 or even the Corsair AF120s. If anything 2 120mm fans will actually do more and be just as quiet. I think it would be worth your wild replacing the 200mm fan and getting this cooler, my 4770k loves it.

Question 5

the software use 20% of cpu in this normal ?

It would depend on your CPU, I have a 4770k, and it uses %2, assuming you don't have a very old processor, then yes, that is odd.  I would make sure you download the newest version of the software, and that the USB plug is in correctly in the case.  If the problem continues, I suggest you contact the Thermaltake tech support.

Question 6

Has anyone had difficulties with the software and windows 8/8.1? I can't seem to get it to install. If so, have you found any work around?

I'm having that very same problem with Windows 7 Ultimate. i contacted Thermal take and that asked me to make sure i have that one Plug. Plugged into a USB port on board i still have the problem so they say send the device back to have it repaired its not working right. i never did its working OK for me. my AMD 8 core 4.0Ghz CPU doesn't really get over 30c even while playing DIABLO III for any length of time

Trying to cool my AMD 9590 4.7Ghz cpu. does anyone know if this will work? there have been many bad reviews for the "recommended" cooling systems designed for it by cool master. loud and does not cool it. 
I was also looking for the enermax liqteck 240 but cant figure out where I could buy it at.
Any Thoughts?

Hi Jeremiah,

I purchased the Tt Water 3.0 Extreme a couple of months ago with a few other system upgrades. I didn't upgrade my processor, so I was able to track temperature before and after and do a comparison, so I'll add some of that information in here.

I'm running an Intel i7 2600K (2nd Gen, 3.4 GHz) in my system, so all of the information here is related to that.

My core prior to adding the Water 3.0 averaged a temperature of 35-45 degrees Celsius, and would get up to 70-75 C when pushing the system. This was using stock cooling provided by intel.

After adding the Water 3.0, my core averages 25-30 C when idle, and 45-50 C when I push it pretty hard. The software that comes with it allows you to control the fan speed and can be setup dynamically so the warmer the core gets, the more heat the radiator tries to dissipate. There are also a couple of preset modes depending on how you need it to run (i.e., Extreme vs. Standard depending on if you're a hardcore resource user).

One thing I will note is that I didn't use the stock thermal paste that came on the waterblock with the Water 3.0. I cleaned the surface of the block and my core and used Arctic Silver.

The Water 3.0 comes with the hardware necessary to attach to AMD cores, but I would check to make sure your specific socket is supported.

I would also note that the radiator on this guy is pretty big (240mm) and is designed to mount into the top brackets of a Thermaltake chassis. I don't know if it'll work for just any chassis. If you don't have a Tt chassis, moving to the smaller Water 3.0 Pro, which I believe will mount into the back of most cases. Obviously, the smaller radiator means you'll get slightly less cooling, but I think it would still work.

I've thoroughly enjoyed my cooler and haven't had a problem. Hopefully this gives you better insight and helps you make an informed decision. Best of luck!

You need two side-by-side 120mm fan vents to install this Cooler. It will be going on the top vents in a Rosewill Thor 2. I do not know the placement in the case you listed.

does this work with LGA2011-v3 (i7-5820K)?

Keep in mind that the 5820K only supports 26 PCI-E lanes.  If your goal is to go with multiple graphics cards in SLI, you may want to consider the 5930K.  It is more money but supports 40 PCI-E lanes.  This is especially important if you are considering 3 or 4 way SLI.  Not so much with 2 way SLI.
