Step up from the stock cooling fan and heatsink that came with your processor with the TR2TT TR2-M14 SE CPU cooling fan and heatsink. Made for use with AMD Athlon FX and Athlon 64 (Socket 754, 939, 940) processors, the all-copper base absorbs heat and transfers it to a high-density aluminum fin heatsink for a more efficient transfer of heat than other materials. A tool-free metal clip makes installation easy.
An 80mm, 2,300rpm, sleeve-bearing fan, which is quieter at low speeds than ball-bearing fans, sits on top of the heatsink pushing heat out and away from the processor. The fan is rated at an operational sound level of just 19dB. A simple connection to a standard 3-pin fan port on your motherboard is all that’s needed for power.
