Does this fan have power settings or it is just one speed?

It crapped out on me about a year after I got it. One speed from what I can remember. I ran it about two slots under a single graphic card on a very hot machine, it helped but I don't remember specific temps, sorry. It wasn't loud, at least not louder than any of the the other fans I had, which overall was quite loud. I wouldn't plan a build with it in mind, but adding on to a system would help a bit.

Does this have a three pin or four pin connection?

This fan only has a molex connector, so it does not have a normal 3 or 4 pin fan connector, if your power supply doesn't have any molex then you'll need to buy an adapter.
