would this be a suitable fan to use for a push pull configuration on my hyper 212 plus heat sink? because I am looking for a blue led lit 120mm fan that can handle performing some good cooling on the heat sink?

Short answer: Yes Long answer: I've used about 15 120mm AeroCool case fans (1 DOA) in 3 computer builds but not on a 212 Cooler. Important: Plug one 212 Cooler fan (push) into the CPU Fan connector on the motherboard. Recommended Bios Settings: (1) CPU Fan speed: Automatic (2) CPU Temperature Warning Alarm: On - Set Temp lower than the manufacturer's Maximum Allowable CPU Temperature. (3) CPU Fan Failure Warning: On (4) Always double check everything that you do! Additional Note: I think you have to have a piezo speaker hooked up to the motherboard to hear the warning alarms set in Bios. I'm not sure if you'll hear the alarms with your external speakers. I suppose that depends on what motherboard that you're using.
