Does this come with the reseptical that the heat sink clips into?

This clips onto the CPU or the standard socket that the CPU is plugged into. New clips are included and it has thermal grease pre-applied. Normally, you would be replacing a similar heat sink and it will fit just fine. If your existing heat sink does not look like this one, I would double check that you are ordering the right one. Just make sure that it is compatible with your CPU, see the specs for a list of processors. You might also get the manufacturer name and part number of the existing heat sink and do a search to make sure you are ordering a compatible replacement. Note also the electrical connection, a small three conductor plug. You should have the same connection on your motherboard, especially if you are replacing a similar heat sink.  It took me about 5 minutes to replace.
