i heard these are quite decently bright is this true? and do they move a fair amount of air? with decent RPM?

they are static pressure fans so they do a great job of moving air through things like radiators. The lights are very bright. The one downside I had with switching to these fans is that my mobo has a built in fan speed controller based on temperature. These fans do not have the option of being controlled by the motherboard. They have one speed 1200-1400 rpms. You could get a fan speed controller based on voltage output but that is still manually controlled by a switch. Yes they are bright, yes they can move air pretty well.
