Question 1

I have heard that there are not enough long screws to attach both fans.  Is this true, and can I buy more screws?

There are enough long screw's (8) to install both included fans in either push or pull and if you install them in push there are included short screw's (8) to case mount the radiator. If you want to add 2 more fans for a full push-pull setup then you will need to buy the additional screws for the extra 2 not included fans. Corsair sells both the extra fans and screw kit needed on their site.

Question 2

Is this compatible with  MSI Z97 GAMING 5 LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard?

Any Intel compliant socket LGA 1150 M/B should be no problem at all. The H110o GT has a superior CPU mounting bracket system. I have it on a msi Z97 PC Mate no problem.
M/B install is a breeze.

Fitting it in a case is another issue, Its big!
Check measurement specs from the corsair web site.
H110i GT -- Radiator dimensions: 140mm x 322mm x 27mm
H110 ------- Radiator dimensions: 140mm x 312mm x 29mm
H100i GTX - Radiator dimensions: 125mm x 276mm x 30mm
That extra 10mm in length over the H110 can make or break your install. Go with a full tower case.

The H100i GTX would be a good second choice comparable features in a 240mm Radiator

Will this fit a Fractal Define R4 in the top position?

I have the Fractal R4 Blackout Edition with side window. I recently bought this cooler and managed to get this to fit only after some serious fidangling.

The top vent spots of the case aren't positioned correctly to fit the radiator. I have no idea how this is, as the case indicates it can support 280mm (which it can, technically), but the radiator will not screw in perfectly with all 6 screw slots lining up. There are 6 screws to get the radiator in (three on the one long side, and three on the other). I was only able to get four of them to ever line up (if i moved it forward more, the front four lined up, and if I moved it back, the back four lined up). This needed to be toward the front of the case in order to make the fans fit (the next big hiccup). I had to gently slide it in, front side first,and then the rear, with the cooling unit's pipes toward the front.

I ended up having to take my Dremel to the bottom left corner of the rear fan in order to get it to fit around my motherboard components (I have the MSI 990FXA-GD80). This was the only major hiccup. Everything else is ok. I secured everything else down with the screws provided except for this corner of this one fan. It works perfectly, keeps my CPU much cooler and is much quieter than the H60 that I upgraded from. There is no rattling sound or anything, and it works perfectly. I plan to install another exhaust fan on the back of the case, which should fit just fine.

how should I use this as a exhaust or intake ?

You can use it either way, depending on your case. I installed mine as an exhaust on the upper part of my case, over the cpu and ram but if your case doesn't have the space or openings you can install it in the front as an intake. Exhaust would be my preferred method of installing it because it doesn't bring in to the case all the warm air from the exchange, but of course as an exhaust it doesn't draw cool air from the outside so it's kind of a trade but I think if you have a well ventilated case this is not a big drawback, and it's better than pushing hot air from the radiator into the case. will the fit in my inwin dragonrider case?

Hi Michael,
I just looked up your case here on NewEgg and the H110i will not fit your case.  I am assuming you intend on mounting the radiator and fans on the top of your case (inside of course).  From what I can see from the specs of your case it has mounts for 2 120mm fans on the top.  The H110i is a 280mm radiator and uses 2 140mm fans.  The H100i GTX should work however as its radiator is 240mm long and uses two 120mm fans.  If I were you I would give Corsair support a call as they are very helpful.  I called a few times and found them to be very friendly and knowledgeable.  I just built my son a new gaming system and used their Carbide Series Air 540 case and would highly recommend it. I considered a large air CPU cooler but some of them cost almost as much as the H110i so I decided to spend the extra and go with the water cooling.  Also be aware that the series of coolers that have the i in the model number require the use of one of a USB 2 header.  The coolers that have the i  like the H100i GTX are designed to work with Corsairs Link software which is a free download.  The link software communicates with your motherboard and is able to report all of the fan speeds as well as the temps that your MB monitors, like your CPU, and GPU.  You can also create custom fan profiles as well as controlling the speed of all the fans.  You can also control the speed for the pump as well as the color of the logo, I have mine set to red.  If you have an extra USB header the H100i will be more than adequate to cool your CPU.  However if you decide you do not want to use the Link software the older H105 would be a good choice and would also fit your case.  If you purchase a Corsair product they have a lot of good installation info on their site.  Look for the Learn link in the top center of their main page.  Another good place to look is YouTube.

How loud does this get?

Can be as quiet as you want it to be.  The fans that are with it are not very loud compared to some others on the market.  The radiator density is rather light making it to where you can run the fans at a lower rpm and keep your temps down.  Great cooler running 5820k

can you hook this into a system wide cooling or is it not able to do that?

System wide? It is a closed loop system for the CPU only.  If you want to also cool a video card in the system you need to go custom.

Ive been hesitant on purchasing liquid cooling as I've heard mixed reviews on the previous H100i. My biggest concern is the software...does this come with software...if so, how reliable is it?

The H110I does not come with software. There is Corsair-Link software available for download on the Corsair website that works very well with the H110i. I hadn't used water(liquid) cooling previously but this unit has worked extremely well. I have had the unit up for a couple of months now on an i7-5820 at 4.0 GHz as smooth as glass. Highly recommend it and the Corsair-link software.

I'd be interested in replacing the fans on this unit with different fans. Has anyone else done so with success?

Yes, you can replace the stock fans with any 140mm sized fans. Preferably fans with a high static pressure rating, which is measured in "mm H2O". The higher that rating, the higher the static pressure and the better the fan will perform up against a restrictive surface such as a radiator.

Does anyone know if this will fit in an Azza Solano 1000 tower?

Due to the lack of information on the case over the Web it's very hard to say whether or not it will natively fit out of the box. However the case itself does appear to be large enough however I do not know if the mounting holes are there. I'm not encourageing you do this but I'm fairly sure you could drill the mounting holes yourself if actually needed to... just a thought. But I found on the website where it says it supports most water cooling system's but no additional information sadly. :/
