If I buy a LL 120mm series set of 3, can I order 1 or 2 of these 140mm individually and connect it/them to the "Node Pro" and get complete functionality from them at the same time?

Will these work with MSI mystic?

Don't know for sure, but I doubt it.  The 4-pin fan connector is pretty much universal and will work with any 4-pin fan connector on a variety of motherboards. The LED control is proprietary to Corsair and only works with their LINK software.  In addition, I believe Corsair's LED's are 5 volts whereas most motherboards RGB connectors are 12 volt

Can these be rewired to run in reverse? I want to put them in the top of my case blowing out but the default direction either has them blowing down instead of up or showing the ugly back of the fans where the leds can hardly be seen.

I wouldn't recomend that even if you could. Either way you get the LL effect. This is a pretty neiche situation, you bought the wrong fans. PWM arnt meant to be rewired, esspecialy ones with Link software. You'd mess up the LEDs.

Lightning Node Pro or another hub combo from Corsair is the only way you'll be able to control the RGB in these fans.

Difference between ML LL and HD?

It’s Corsair’s way of having the same fans with different sets of RGB lights. The LL series has 16 total LED lights (12 outer; 4 inner) while the ML series has none. They have the same performance, but one has lights. This is a forewarning though. If you plan to use the LEDs, you need the Corsair Fan hub which typically comes in a 2-pack of fans. It also comes with a Corsair Case as most of their newer cases have some form of RGB fan installed. I would also have to recommend getting the Lighting Node Pro to be able to control the fans easily. Corsair made a lot of hurdles for users to tackle, many of them locked behind price tags. But when it’s all said and done, the lighting is stunning.

do i need the node for the RGB to work or can i just put in on one of my motherboards fan headers?

Either the Lighting Node Pro or the Commander Pro are required along with the RGB hub in order to show the RGB effects. The fans have a 4-PIN PWM fan connector for power and fan control but also have an optional 3 pin connector that is required to be connected if you want the RGB lighting and functionality.

I bought LL fans 2 years ago but they weren't IQ, they run on Corsair Link. Will this fan work with that?

The Corsair LL Series CO-9050073-WW LL140 RGB fan requires an RGB Lighting hub and Lighting Node PRO for its RGB functionality. It is intended as an expansion of the LL140 RGB LED 2 fan kit with Lighting Node PRO.
