Does it come with pre-applied thermal paste on it?

It does come with pre-applied thermal paste and it seems to be rather cheap. I Would suggest applying your own thermal paste if you intend on going with this radiator. However, after using mine for over a month, I would strongly suggest you stay away from this product. Personally, if I was to buy a 360mm radiator again, I would go with the new NZXT Kraken x72.

Question 2

Please tell me the fans are RGB as well? And if not, WHY???

They are not. I'm pretty sure it's because a lot of corsair cases (like the crystal 570x) that this fits in has run fans that will fit or they want you to buy a set. I bought LL120 fans. They are way prettier than the standard RGB corsair provides with stuff anyways. On a plus side, the fans don't come installed so it's easier to just put what you want in there

Question 3

I am considering water cooling for my next build. Does the water cooling require any type of maintenance ? Changing out liquid coolant etc or is it just install and go?

There are 2 types of liquid coolers. This is an "all in one" type cooler. It comes preassembled and requires no maintenance. It does have a finite lifespan, however and should probably be replaced after about 5 years. The other type of liquid cooler is custom built. You must assemble those and they will require maintainence. They are nice, but also expensive.

Question 4

Is it possible for me to change the liquid inside?

I would not advise it.  This system is sealed and designed to run with the coolant that is installed by the factory. Mine has been running for almost 3 years and I have had no issues with it at all.  I do clean the Radiator and Fans about every 6 months.

Question 5

I'm interested in purchasing this, and this really won't deter me, but I ask out of curiosity. I'm building my first rig, and I'm going all out. Are the fans RGB or is it simply the just the block that is RGB? If it's only the block, is it possible to replace the fans with LL120 RGB fans?

Only the water block is RGB, and yes, you can use the 3 of the LL120 fans. That is what I did myself. The cooler is superb at cooling also. I have my CPU (8700k)) overclocked and it usual runs around 36 C. I recommend this cooler and the LL120 series fans. I hope you found this helpful, and good luck on your first build!

will this cooler work well  with AMD RYZEN Threadripper 1950X 16-Core / 32 Threads 3.4 GHz Socket sTR4 180W YD195XA8AEWOF Desktop Processor or do I need to keep looking?

This cooler will not work with the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X 16 Core at this time. I purchased it to build into my 1950X and was quite surprised that it does not have a useable bracket for the Threadripper series yet (The converter that comes with the Threadripper doesn't work either). We have very few options at this time for the Threadripper series, but I went with the ARCTIC Freezer 33 TR cooler that is doing the job nicely until they come out with a bracket for the H150i PRO. Be aware that the ARCTIC Freezer 33 does not cover the entire top of the processor, (Covers about 2/3 of it) and unless they create a transfer block with the bracket for the H150i it will also not cover the entire processor. Bottom line, it seems that it will be a little while until we get full coverage/high quality coolers for the Threadripper series.

Another thing to consider, I bought a full size ATX case, and this cooler's radiator/fan assembly is so large that I will have to rig it at an angle just to fit it into the case, and one of the fans will be partially blocked from pushing air out of the case. The case almost needs to be specifically designed for this cooler, or you need to find a way to mount it outside your case.

Is this an AIO cooler? Do I need to add any liquid myself or is it all set and ready to go?

I have and use this model.  It is an AIO cooler.  You can't add liquid because it is sealed.  You install the included fans and it is all set and ready to go.

Question 8

Hi, can I change the fans to Corsair LL series 12mm and make the RGB work as well?

Yes, the process should be the same as if you did not change the fans. Just make sure you plug the fans into RGB compatible headers on your motherboard and they should work.

has anyone had any problems with the 360mm version?

None, it's the best AIO cooler I have ever used hands down. Silent and effective. Running 8700k @ 5.3ghz now, with my own gallium alloy under the IHS, doesn't cross 60°C on a synthetic stress test on any core.

Question 10

Does this unit have to have the 'link program' to work? I used a earlier Cosair AIO back a number of years ago on a 4770K and had problems where the 'link program' had to be used. I'm currently on a 5930 on a MSI Godlike (x99) Mother board

I would avoid buying this. It isn't controllable through MSI Mystic Light. It has a stand alone program that will not look good with Mystic light. Furthermore my cooler came with holes that were too big for the screws that secure the fans to the radiator (Stripped). After about 6 emails and a short video of the problem I was experiencing they wanted to send me a fan as the repair. They finally wanted me to send them 170 dollars and they would send a new one to me, then credit my account when they received the junk they sold me back. I declined to do that basically because I had no faith they were capable of preforming the fore mentioned tasks without some one pestering them.  This was my first and only purchase from them and I hope they Do Not invent the next best thing in computers, because I would have to pass on any further dealings with them. (Corsair this is exactly what happens when you don't bother taking care of your customers.)
