As for socket fit yes, as for thermals I would see what kind of fin density the TDP of the 3rd Gen requires for most it should work just not sure on anything over 8 cores. I have it on the 1700X if that is a guide to go by.

I think you could set the led to black which would effectively be off in the Corsair utility engine aka CUE. I’m not near my computer to check for sure but maybe someone can heat me to it

My motherboard has a 4 pin cpu fan header, and a 4 pin pump connector. Will this work?

Yes, one of the connectors is a 4-pin and one is a 3-pin. You can simply align the 3-pin like you would a 4-pin, leaving out the furthest pin away from the plastic part used to line up the connectors.
(The headers on my mobo are also 4 and 4 and this works great in my build)

Sadly, we are not able to find out how long the tubing is since the item is sealed in our warehouse and we are not able to open the item without voiding to warranty. However, I have this one myself and it is long enough for you to use it.

No. And it's something i hated in the old model. The new model is a rubber very flexible.
