There is lighting on the back but Id look for other fans cause you have a wire showing along with 4 pieces of plastic as support blocking most of it, watch an unboxing vod or something to get a better idea

How many fans can the node control?

are the white fans faster than the black ones? says white goes 2200rpm and the black ones only go 1500rpm? is this true?

Yes, the white fans have a speed of 2200 RPM +/- 10% while the black version has a speed of 600 - 1500 RPM +/- 10%.  With that speed difference there are also differences in the dBA, static pressure and CFM as well.  The white version has a dBA of 36, status pressure of 3.0 mm-H2O and CFM of 63.  The black version has a dBA of 24.8, status pressure of 1.61 mm-H2O and CFM of 43.25.  The white version is a bit louder but you get a lot more performance from them and I personally think they look amazing.  The black look great too but the white are just beautiful.  If you are using them as a case fan and don't need the extra performance, the black will work fine and look great.  If you need the extra performance either as a case fan or the static pressure increase to use them on a radiator, the white are a better option and look amazing.

When is Corsair coming out with black fans that have side ring-bling, go 2200rpm and use Capellix leds ?

I called and asked the same thing before building my rig. I was told these were created specifically for their limited edition systems and there weren't any plans on releasing a black variant. If you are handy, I guess you could by two sets. One of these and then one of the black and then disassemble and swap parts, but if it's just the color, I'd just deal with it. I'm not a fan of the white either, but getting the 2200RPM, I don't care that much.

Question 6

Does the control module require a special power plug or does it plug right into a standard power plug from the case power supply?

Thank you for contacting us in regards to your question.

If I know Corsair as much as I do, the control module will connect to the SATA power plug of the power supply. Most power supplies will care this cable so as long as it has the SATA power cable, then the control module will work just fine along with the fans.

Will the black versions get their specs overhauled?  I like the new white one's specs, but not the color white itself.
