will this work with an FM2+ motherboard?

I purchased this for an i7 4770 rig on an Asus Maximus board.  Run's great!  Keeps the cpu around 37c - and quite.

I also have a FM+2 Asus Crosshair V Formula running an FM-8150.  I've ordered another EVGA cooler to try out on this board.  It appears that if I remove the two brackets on both the left / right side of the CPU then I can use this cooler.

To be honest, I haven't tried - but it does appear to be possible so I am attempting to do it.

Great cooler all around - and hope it works on my 8150.

Question 2

Do you guys think that this board would fit on an Gigabyte H81N motherboard with 2 sticks of ram installed? im looking for an easy install heatsink and something that performs better than the stock cooler while still staying small. The exact mobo is GA-H81N. Thanks!

I would be more concerned with case size. The footprint of the heatsink is not much larger than stock, however the height of the heatsink is quite dramatic. I would highly advise you break out the ruler and measure the dimensions provided in the product description to save you heartache on the day of arrival. If you choose to be reckless, it should fit your mobo just fine, and you can always return it if it does not suit your needs.

Will this fit on an ASUS? z77 sabortooth?

I would advise that you read the product specifications and compare them to the specifications of the Z77 Sabertooth. I have done so, and noticed that the socket sizes are both LGA1155, matching the newest series of intel chipsets. So yes, this would fit on a Z77 board. However, I can tell you it barely fits into my full ATX size case, and although your form factor is ATX, I am not sure if  your case is wide enough. Measure the depth of your case and ensure the heatsink can stand upright in the case with the door closed.

Is this a decent cpu cooler for an i7 4770k? I just wanna do a light overclock probably like 4.2ghz or maybe 4.6ghz and I see the mounting brackets on this thing looks pretty easy to install since its like the stock intel fan

Pretty sure this cooler will hold up just fine! It's basically a supped up version of the CM 212, and I love the stealth black look too! The exact reason what drew me to this thing, and I have nothing but really good things to say about this cooler!

Is this compatible w/ the intel i5-4670k? Will it keep it cool enough if i overclock? CPU has a 84w TDP

I run a 4770k at 4.6ghz. I am not on water cool, I added 2 top fans and the bottom fan and it stays between 40-68 degrees C.
