Question 1

Are these fans PWM?  and/or can you adjust the speed of them incrementally through software and such?

The item did not come with software when i purchased it, and i am not aware of downloadable software from the manufacturer that would allow for PWM.  I can't rule it out since the functionality is not something i've looked for personally, but the software support you're interested in does not ship with the unit.

Question 2

I have 2 r9 290x graphics cards with their reference coolers. I want to run them in crossfire, but the heat would be a bit much. I want to put after market coolers on them, but I'm not sure if two coolers will fit in my case. I have the Phanteks Enthoo Pro and the msi h170a gaming pro motherboard. Does anybody know if I can run crossfire with this cooler? Thanks in advance.

I have this cooler for a Gtx card that was a 2 slot card. With this cooler, it's now a 3 slot card. A fan blade broke on my stock cooler, so I bought this. Temps are several degrees Fahrenheit better.. For what you're looking for I recommend a water cooling setup.  I run my cards full throttle 24x7 for FAH. I have a evga mobo and the clearance between the cards is something like an inch.  This isn't enough to get air flow; the first card runs much hotter.  Your mobo looks like you'd have more space than me, but with this cooler, I think you'll be hurting.  given your goal for running cooler than stock, I think a water rig is better,  you'll be pulling the heat problem away from your cards. I hear tho they're a pita to maintain unless you opt for a pre made system.

Question 3

Does anyone know if this cooler will work with the Sapphire Vapor-X 3GB Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition graphics card?  I sent an e-mail to GELID but got no response, and Sapphire said I'd need to ask GELID, as they didn't know.

It's on sale right now so I'd like to get it while I can save some money, but only if it will work with my card.

Safe answer is no, because Gelid does not list the 7990. You might be able to modify it, but you would need to research.

My advice is to get a cooler that fits your card's exact model if possible.

hey there hmm will this fit a gtx 460 and will it run it lower temps atm with factory 1 its running at 97C when playing wow?

Yeah it will fit it is a massive PITA to install though the small heat sinks require you to buy thermal glue to glue on top of the ram chips. Once installed it works great though. You should just look at a gtx 660 650 ti boost for cheap. This cooler is half the cost of graphics card upgrade almost. Also you could try to remove your stock cooler clean all the dust out of it and reapply thermal compound onto your GPU that is what I would do first before spending the money for a new cooler. The one you have may just be dirty and have extremely old thermal compound on it.

Question 5

Will this device fit on an Nvidia Quadro 2000 VGA?

I'm not actually sure about the Quadro 2000. I know for a fact that it will work with Quadro 4000 and the only difference in the two cards physically is that that 4000 is about 2 inches longer. So I wouldn't think you would have any trouble fitting it to it, but just to be sure you could always send GELID a support ticket or even call them just to be sure. I did that with my card & they were very helpful, & responded quite quickly.

According to a link I found (which I'm not allowed to reference here), no:

"The PCB of RX480 is too short, some capacitors on the left side of GPU have conflict to the heatpipe of icy vision.
So icy vision and icy A cannot fit to RX480 "

That is from the GELID website, so it doesn't seem like it will work with the 980.

Question 9

Will this fit on a EVGA 650 Ti 2gb ??? I have two fan blades broken on it . I could send it into EVGA to get it fixed however that will be a full week without being able to use my computer . NOT AN OPTION i work from home .

No it won't fit on your 650 ti. I checked the compatibility for you. I'm a little surprised that it doesn't to be honest with you. See for yourself on the Gelid website. I tried to post the link for you but Newegg wouldn't allow it for some reason.

Question 10

will this fit on a Radeon HD 6800 crossfire setup?

Yes this cooler will fit that setup, depending on the spacing of your motherboard that is. This reply won't let me link to the manufacturers page with the product specifications and which models it will fit. But a quick google search will bring it right up. It will fit the 6850 as you asked, but just check for clearance between the cards by the depth of the cooler & your PCI-E Slots.
