Will this cooler work on the AM4 motherboards?

Yes and no.  Yes, the COOLER will work for the AM4 socket.  No, the included MOUNTING HARDWARE will not.  AMD decided to go with a new mounting spacing for Ryzen so all coolers older than a few weeks will need new hardware.  Some companies like noctua and coolermaster will send out free AM4 kits if you have one of their coolers, but Phononic is probably too boutique for that.  I'm sure there will be generic conversion kits available which will work, but don't expect it to hook up right out of the box to a standard designed after it was.  I may be looking to do the same thing, so good luck to us both!  It's a great product and if you can get it to mount on AM4 I'm sure it is worth it!

With the provided attachment hardware can this be used on a LGA 1151 (300 series) motherboard?

Yes, with very very few exceptions (specialty server stuff) all lga 1151 mounting is compatable.  This will work on intel lga 1151 regardless of chipset series.

How many watts can the thermoelectric cooling dissipate?

So there are two answers to this, the scientific and the practical.  Scientifically, I'm not sure what the exact  cooling effienncy under different wattages is, but in my testing it competes with coolers rated in the 200w range.  However, we all know those TPD ratings printed on the box are meaningless anyway.  Practically, I would recommend this for anything equal to or less than the 95w the current top chips for lga155x.  I have mine on a 7700k and I'm very happy.
I think if you move into high-end lga2011 territory you are asking too much of a cooler that still relies on a single 92mm fan.  In my opinion this cooler is really only suitable for mini itx rigs.  If you have a full size case you can do something comparable for much less cash.  For mini itx this is absolutely without rival for air cooling and compatibility.
That all said, who puts a lga2011 in a mini itx anyway, they barely make mobos for that.
If you don't have a lga155x in a mini itx then look elsewhere, if you do, then buy this.
Sorry, I'm not much help with AMD... oh well.

Does this work with LGA 2011 v3?

yes it does, mostly depends on your case size, the thing should fit all standard except extremely small cases like certain mini ITX

Will this fit a LGA2066  motherboard I-9 7820 X ?

Accepted Answer

LGA2066 has the same mounting pattern as LGA2011.  Therefore, since this is LGA2011 compatable it should also work on LGA2066.  The only reason it doesn’t specifically say it fits LGA2066 is because this cooler predates that socket.  Should work fine!

I am interested but am concerned about the lifespan of the peltier plate. What is the MTBF and has anyone experienced a failure after more than 90 day but got at least a few years service out of it (not sure how long it's been on the market now)?

I've had it since 2019 and it is 2021 now.  Never had an issue.  Still going strong.  Solid cooler.  Love it.

What is the max power that this draws through the PCIe connector?

The max power the HEX 2.0 will draw through the PCIe connector is 35W, however, only when in active mode. When the cooler is in passive mode, it does not draw any power through the PCIe.
