how big are they?

There are two of them each approx ~12in tall, 7in wide and 9in deep. They can definitely take up a chunk of your desk, and are slightly slanted so you can't really use them to put things on either, but if you've got any random decorations on your desk they might find a home atop them.

can you record music with this?

No you can't record music with these. They are extremely good to listen to music and play games but you really want some studio monitors. For the price you can find some studio ones in the same price range

are these for computers???

They marketed are for gaming computers, but I got them (on sale) for one of my synthesizers I keep in my office.  They are fairly good quality and I'm very pleased with them.

Does anyone know the name of the 4 pin connector used to connect the master speaker to the satellite speaker? I bought an open box pair of these speakers which didn't have the necessary cable in the box, and i'd rather just buy a cable than go through the hassle of sending them back. It looks a bit like a 4 prong mini SLR input but the 4 holes are set in a square pattern rather than a t pattern like other mini SLR cables i'm seeing online.

I would like to connect these to an audio interface but I'm concerned that there isn't both input and output xlr ports on the main monitor. Would it still be possible to run two xlr outputs for left/right monitor inputs on the audio interface?

if your looking at the picture of the back of the speakers.. that is not xlr.. it looks similar but it is just a midi type but much smaller, about the size of s- video it does resemble an xlr but its much smaller and has 4 prongs.  like the old purple and green connectors used on the old mouse and keyboards ps2. more of a four prong proprietary type cable. Hope this helps

can a Bluetooth adapter/receiver be connected to these so they can be  used as Bluetooth speakers?

The speakers have two input options:  3.5mm Aux-in, or RCA L/R inputs.  As long as your source has these outputs (or can be converted to one of them), it will work.  Note these speakers do require A/C power also.
