Can the ECU2USB be used to connect a Netgear WG511T 108 Mbps Wireless PC Card to a desktop with XP?

I can't say about the wireless card as I do not have one to test it with . But it is basically works as USB 2 port that takes Express cards as long as those are USB 2 compatible . No driver needed. I tried it on Windows 7 with a 2 port USB 3 card plugged in it , where I plugged a USB 3 docking station in that, it did not seem to work. No HDD detected.
Also another factor to consider is the CPU of your laptop if it can support the 3rd party express card you plug into this. I found out the hardway some video capture express cards do not work on this if you plug it in an old laptop (pre-dual core) with XP or older OS.  Reason is because those cards need a dual core CPU like 2 Ghz or over, even if you are using them thru USB which is like a bottle neck for that application.
