The Vertiv Liebert PSI5-72VBATT is a 2U, 72V external battery cabinet with 9Ah lead-acid batteries that extends runtime for compatible Liebert PSI5 UPS systems. It is suitable for users of the listed PSI5-2200RT120, PSI5-3000RT120, or PSI5-5000RT208 models who need longer backup for connected devices.

    Recommended For

    • Operators of a Vertiv Liebert PSI5-2200RT120, PSI5-3000RT120, or PSI5-5000RT208 who need more battery runtime for connected server, network, security, or point-of-sale equipment during power interruptions.
    • IT or facilities teams that already use a compatible PSI5 UPS and want to extend backup time by adding external battery cabinets; the UPS supports up to six, with the installed cabinet count configured in its settings.
    • Organizations that need connected equipment to remain on battery longer so staff have additional time to manage an outage or shut systems down cleanly.
    • Rack or tower UPS installations that can accommodate an external cabinet and use valve-regulated lead-acid batteries kept charged for operation.
