Question 1

I am wondering what all comes with the Barebone kit?

It looks like it comes with:
Case, Power supply, motherboard and that is it.

if that is the case it is missing:
processor, ram, hard drive.

You are exactly right.  You will need to also purchase RAM, a hard drive, CPU and if you want wifi connectivity also some way to do that...I have a dongle attached to the back of the unit.

If you are interested in the specific items I got, I can send that to you, assuming there is a response available through this system, it will not let me include an email address ...I highly recommend a solid state drive as the "C" drive as it will boot within a few seconds, and you can add a cheaper drive for storage....New egg has a device that lets you put both 2.5" drives in a 3.5 inch slot.  You might want a lower power consumption CPU as I think the power supply is none too large for this.

My only problem putting things together was that the unit was picky about which sticks of RAM went in which slots and it took a couple of iterations to get the unit to recognize it all.

Can you tell me exactly which Power Supply ships with this unit and how many watts it's rated to?  Thanks

I got one of these in May and it came with a power supply that says 19V   7.1 Amps  which translates to 135 watts.  The material that came with it says there are optional power supplies available at 300 and 500 Watts.  The one I got does just fine with a low power Haswell (i7-4770S).  If you want all sorts of  bells and whistles I can't vouch for the power, but for just a couple of hard drives and a wi-fi-adapter it does just fine.  I strongly recommend at least a small solid state drive to load the operating system on...I did that and it boots in literally seconds.  The only glitch I had was that the board seems finicky about which memory card goes in which slot...I had to switch them around a couple of times to get it to work properly.

Does this come with a CPU and memory or do I still need to buy those in addition to a hard drive?

The SZ87R6 comes as an assembled bare bones system.  As such it come with a case, motherboard, power supply and a CPU cooler.  The purchaser must add a CPU, memory, hard drive and optionally an optical drive.

How much room is available for the PCI-E X16 slot? Will it be able to accommodate full sized modern graphics cards?

I run GTX 970s in them with no issues. They are 145W, compared to 175W for the Fury Nano. Hope that helps a little.
