Does this unit ship with a car charger cord?

Yes it does, along with a USB cord and a slot for a mini SD card to expand memory.

what type of mount does it come with?

Hi, the 6.1 comes with a suction cup mount for the windshield - works fine - pretty standard for these types of Nav systems. The mount attaches to the 6.1 with a ball mount which allows you to adjust the Nav for better viewing - or in my case so my wife can look at it and tell me where I took the wrong turn!
