No, this Kinect is still the original Kinect and Microsoft is working on the Kinect One for Windows sensor with scheduled release sometime in 2014.

How can we use this to control the arrow keys on our PC computers please?

its a either/or situation. wanna use the arrows np..check how they are mapped in the game. wanna use the controller, np just pick it up and use it. I go back and forth, with no issues. keyboard and controller stay plugged in all the time. windows 7 btw, too many games to list, but no issues switching

I Have Kinect Ver 1 for Windows. I've been considering purchasing
another ver. 1 asI understand it you can use 2 in tandem to capture more precise data and overlap to capture from two different directions I.E. seperated by 45 degrees pointing at the subject. Is this true? I'm useing Lightwave 11.6.3

I would not get one now that Microsoft has decided to discontinue this product.  Google "microsoft discontinues kinect for windows" for more information.  This news was recently released less than 24 hours ago.  Hot off the presses.

Look into the next version.  As for your issue, yes you can use as many as you can configure and your computer can handle.  Several projects have been successful with multi-Kinect sensors.

Version 1 (Based on the XBox 360)!

There is some roomers that got out at BUILD that there was to be one for version 2 (that works for the XBox One), but I never heard anything about it!

It would be cool if it happened, but as far as I know, the ball is still in Microsoft court!
