So long as you have the speaker plugged in it has the ability to light up. Below tge two dials on the front is a button that you can press to light it up.

Q: Can you replace the LED lights if they go out?

This would void any warranty applicable to the product. That being said, if you're more of an engineer and understand such concepts one could do so. If you are not I can only imagine the sound system that would ensue.... Super glue, duck tape, etc... :D However, if a light stopped working I would suspect wiring before an led bulb. If one did decide to replace the bulb I personally would add an beat sensor & switch to a full spectrum LED.

Not at all. It's a very basic setup overall, the only input is an aux cable. I've been happy with it since I use a much higher end headset when I'm not just sitting back, but it's nothing special as a speaker system.

Will these speakers work with my Apple MacPro Desktop computer?

These speakers use a 3.5mm jack connector so basically if your mac pro has a slot 5th plug in head phones then yes it will work. Also, these speakers do need to be plugged in to use so keep that in mind when making the purchase.

Hello Austin,
The speakers come with two cords: 1) the power cord; 2) the headphone cord (the speakers' cord).
I bought two of these speakers: the blue and red lighting, one for me and the other for my son. They work very well and sounds great. We love them. In addition, the installation is very simple and easy. You do not need any other type of cord.
Using the headphone cord, you can connect the speakers to your desktop, laptop, cell phone, etc., to the headphone output of your device. Make sure that you use the headphone connection which is an output.
Make sure that both the volume and bass are completely low before you plug in the power cord and turn the switch in the back on. This avoid damages to the speakers. Also try not to increase the volume of the input device to the maximum. Keep the input level to 80 or 85%.

Question 4

No way to split channels with this set? I have a 7.1 Maxx Waves sound card, seems like a single output jack would handicap the set to a degree, or a lot on a performance PC. Maintaining each channel is critical to the best possible sound.

I suspect this may not satisfy me? The price sounds great, this seems to be for those with a single audio output only.

I purchased this for myself as a replacement set thanks to the low cost, but there is indeed limitation. It's really only a very simple 2.1 channel setup; the quality and sub are surprisingly solid considering the price, but if you're looking for a multi-channel, editable setup (and it isn't a headset, I just use really nice headsets when I listen to music or during gaming), this isn't likely to satisfy you. Still a great product overall, but you're best off at least going for a 5.1 higher end setup.

Do these speakers come with the cords and all to plug up to a pc. ie 3.5mm jack, or speaker jacks for 2.1 system?

Its been some time and I have about 10 x 3.5mm cables always lying around, but yes I believe it did come with the cable needed to hookup to my PC.

They sound quite nice for the price they are at by the way ;)
