Does this product work with the Iphone 5/5S? Has anyone received the "not compatible cable message"?

If you have the proper iPhone 5 lightning cable it works. This does not include the lightning cable. For my iPhone 5s, I have a lighting cable that fits the usb slot and it charges fine. This is a cheap, but functional solution. I doubt it will last much longer but for the price they are great travel charges if you rent a lot cars -you don't worry about loosing them.
