Do you have to connect it to your ps4 or only controller and are the ear cups comfortable?

Use for both our Xbox and PS4, yes comfortable ear cups. Only problem is bought 4 at xmas and 2 are falling apart better to spend a little more on a better one.

If I have glasses will it hurt the side of my head?

I have glasses as well, and I hardly notice these headphones while wearing them. The only issUe I have with these headphones is the cord is a decent length but could be a longer.
