How long can this cable go?

Not sure what cable is referred to.

Can you use a TV or monitor to view and are cameras wire less or do you have to run wires and what voltage does cameras run off of?

The box has HDMI out, so any TV or monitor with a HDMI input will work to view the cameras. The cameras are wired with standard bnc/12v cables.

Does this camera come with a hard drive or do you need to purchase separately?

You need to purchase one separately. I bought the Seagate barracuda 2 TB SATA not all HDD are supported the list is in the back of the users guide.

where can i get another one of the white cables that come with this? One of my cables broke so i am one camera down.

This should do the trick for you. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA46G2P51183&cm_re=bnc_power_cable-_-81-338-088-_-Product

Can I have 2 or 3 of these (total of 8 or 12 cameras and 2 or 3 dvrs) set up on the same network and be able to see all cameras via smart phone and interenet?

Yes , you can have 2 or 3 of these (total of 8 or 12 cameras and 2 or 3 dvrs) set up on the same network. Each DVRs will be assigned an IP address separatedly I've never be able to see all my camera via smart phone 'cause I couldn't do forwarding port on my AT&T Router. But I use TeamViewer or Chromecast to access a PC at home and watch all my cameras from there by going to the IPs assigned to those DVDRs.

Does this system send out email alerts in real time? It doesn't mention it specifically in the information here on the page but it seems like a common feature on similar products.

Yes, I have it set up to email me immediately with 3 still pictures attached. I have it send using an email address only used for security systems, and have that email address filtered into a security group in my gmail. I then set my phone to make a special alert sound when an email with that label hits my inbox. TL;DR Anytime someone is at my front door, within 6 seconds I get an alert to my phone accompanied by still pictures.
