Pros: The detector on the unit works fine but that is the extent of this unit's function as far as providing protection against radar and laser guns used by law enforcement.
Cons: The Phazer 3 does not work and will result in users getting tickets and fines. The phazer 3 can scramble laser but only at a distance of about 10-15 feet. Repeat, only 10-15 feet! I have purchased several Rocky Mountain Radar products. The detectors in their radar/laser units work, however, the scramblers in these units have limited scrambling capabilities vs. what's advertised. Anyone purchasing one of these units expecting to have protection from radar and laser guns on the road will learn the hard way. If purchasing a Phazer 3 radar/laser scrambler or any other radar/laser scrambler from Rocky Mountain Radar, be forewarned that the detectors in these units are excellent but absolutely none are effective in jamming radar or laser beyond a distance of fifteen feet at maximum. Do not be fooled by what is stated in ads or what is written on their packaging. If you're looking for radar/laser jamming, do some research. Don't waste your money on a unit that does not work as advertised.
